- Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper were back in town filming for their movie, Limitless today. The stars were at Sampan Restaurant shooting a new ending. [CBS 3 ]
- A Philadelphia police officer has been charged with assault. Aleksande Shwarz, a 21-year veteran, arrested a man in March, claiming the man had attacked him, but video of the incident shows that Schwarz had actually assaulted the citizen instead. The officer is currently suspended with intent to dismiss. [Philadelphia Inquirer ]
- A Reading school system has been infested by bed bugs. Officials are in the process of destroying infested furniture and fumigating in the two elementary schools and and Reading High School. [NBC Philadelphia]
- Governor Ed Rendell is gaining attention for "lashing out" at reporter Leslie Stahl in defense of casinos during a "60 Minutes" interview. Kinda looks like he is "lashing out" with a smile—just saying. [Philadelphia Inquirer ]
- A substitute teacher in Vineland, NJ has been arrested for sexually assaulting a student. Remarno Chambers has not only been charged with sexual assault but also providing drugs and alcohol to minors. [NBC Philadelphia ]
