- Governor Rendell met with union leaders this afternoon in an attempt to expedite a contract agreement. The union has a news conference tentatively scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
- Three men held up an armored car at a TD Bank in Abington Township. No word on how much the thieves wrangled from the car.
- A female Danella employee was awarded $150,000 for having to wear diapers to work due to a lack of available restrooms for women. Four other female employees split $50,000.
- Philadelphia Inquirer CEO Brian Tierney announced that over 420,000 pounds of food were collected for Philadbundance and the Food Bank of South Jersey. Tierney said that they will embark on another food drive, which will include the Daily News. The goal for the new drive is to collect one million pounds of food for the local food banks.
- Cha-ching! Tomorrow's Mega Millions jackpot is at $63 million. The Powerball drawing on Saturday will be worth $80 million.
