- Police have identified a person of interest in the hit-and-run that injured 8-year-old twin sisters. We mentioned this in the news this morning. Seriously. Hit-and-runs need to stop. By bike, trike, car, or segway.
- The fire on the R5 train this morning was not strike related sabotage. The cause of the fire is officially listed as electrical.
- The legislation pending to legalize casino table games could affect tuition at state universities. $688.4 million was left off of the budget and is contingent upon the bill passing.
- Northeast High School's new uniform policy that went into effect today has irritated parents. They allege that the policy is directly related to the taping of the reality show starring Tony Danza as the reason for the policy.
- Tonight's World Series Game 6 pits Andy Pettite against Pedro Martinez. The two future-Hall-of-Fame starters are a combined 75 years old. Go Phils!
